AER Lingus has announced that Irish International is to handle its Irish advertising account, while Abbott Mead Vickers-BBDO will handle its British and European account from now on.

A statement said the appointment of the two new agencies was part of the airline's commitment to become more "customer focused and market driven". Advertising will now be centralised across Europe; previously the accounts were held by separate agencies in individual countries.
