THE business conducted by advertising agencies grew by more than 17 per cent in 1994 to £218 million, according to the latest official figures.

The Central Statistics Office figures, show that agencies charged £58.733 million to clients for press advertising space, an 11.2 per cent rise on 1993. The amount charged for television time rose 26 per cent to £73.7 million.
