ACQUISITIONS helped boost half year earnings at audio equipment company Verity Group, it was revealed today.

Sales for the six months to the end of December climbed £8 million sterling to £23 million, helped by the additions of Premier and Quad. The Huntingdon group reported that taxable profits in the six months to the end of December rose to £1.2 million from £909,000 in the corresponding period in 1994.
