KERRY Ingredients, part of the Kerry Group, is to receive FEOGA grant aid totalling £6.98 million towards the cost of the group's capital investment in its Listowel plant.

Kerry is investing a total of £31.68 million in its Irish ingredients business aimed at developing a third generation of milk protein products and to extend the current range of prepared foods.

Overall, 100 new jobs will be created as well as the employment that will be generated during the construction phase.
