Three new projects involving 450 jobs are expected to be announced today for Co Offaly by the Minister for Health and Children, Mr Cowen. A contract computer manufacturing company is understood to be moving into the former Atlantic Mills plant in Tullamore, following work undertaken by a task force established by the Tanaiste, Ms Harney, when Atlantic Mills closed its Tullamore plant last year. The remaining jobs are being provided in two separate projects, in Tullamore and in Edenderry.
