THE privately owned meat processing group Kepak is paying a total of £2.6 million sterling to acquire Buchan Meats from the receiver. A meeting of Buchan creditors next week is expected to hear details of the Kepak bid for the Aberdeen company, which is understood to have been in contention with another bid from Anglo Irish Beef Processors.
