A £1.4 million investment at a seafood factory is to create 40 new jobs in Co Down. Booker Foods has built a new state-of-the-art scampi factory at its Scottish Seafoods site in Kilkeel. The firm said the new plant will improve efficiency and enable it to double scampi production. The work was completed without EC or government grant aid. The development means the firm now has a staff of 225.
